SSF’s Favorite Hikes

Hiking in the Vail Valley is absolutely one of our favorite summertime activities. But with all the hikes to chose from, which one would we choose? Here is a list of some of Slifer Smith & Frampton’s brokers’ and staffs’ favorite hikes. The list is organized East to West – we hope you are having a spectacular summer and you can get out and enjoy some of these hikes!

Shrine Mountain, Vail Pass
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Round-trip Length: 4.2 miles
Elevation Gain: 645 feet

Booth Lake, East Vail
Difficulty: High
Round-trip Length: 8.7 miles
Elevation Gain:
 3,012 feet

Deluge Lake, East Vail
Difficulty: More Difficult
Round-trip Length: 7.6 miles
Elevation Gain:
 3,0136 feet

Berry Picker, Vail Mountain
Difficulty: Moderate
Round-trip Length: 6.8 miles, or 3.2 miles up and take the Gondola down
Elevation Gain: 8,238-10,346 feet (depends on departing from Vail Village or Lionshead)
